Rabbit Hole Year.
I suddenly had a question.
How did people make birth charts in the Mahabharata times?
Because… what did they put as the DOB?
There was no 18 August 2026.
There wasn’t even a little calendar sitting there saying:
“Please enter date of birth.” 😂
So what did they actually write?
And then I realised I had absolutely no idea.
Which, naturally, meant I had to find out.
One question became another.
Then another.
Then suddenly I was trying to understand what “year” even meant before we had the year-numbering system we casually use today.
At this point, I had completely forgotten my original question.
I was now mentally standing in ancient India asking:
“Okay… but who told you it was Year 3,427?” 😂
And that was it.
I had entered the Astro Rabbit Hole.
The dangerous thing about curiosity is that it never tells you where you’re going.
You ask one perfectly reasonable question.
Three minutes later, you’re investigating how civilisation kept track of time.
And somewhere in the middle, you’re thinking:
“Why did I even start this?” 😹
